I've always noticed how Tyler and Earl have been the closest of friends out of all of OF and was curious as to the history of how they met and grew to be such good friends. I mean, for god's sake Tyler refers to Earl as his 'brother' during the EARL intro, thisniggaugly, He even comes up with a whole story behind it but on his video channel Bloxhead, which shows him bullshitting around '07-'08, Earl isn't in any of them. Leading me to believe they met later on

If anyone has facts on their pasts and histories, that'd be tight. Just throw shit out there

Somebody was telling me at school the other day that they were half brothers... But idk about that.
All of Odd Future is pretty tight. It would probably be the same situation if any other member left, but idk... Earls my favorite (rapper) in the group. I really like his and Tylers voice.

Earl was a skater in OF before being a rapper in the collective according to Syd. Tyler was the only one who knew he could rap. So they developed a friendship that pre-existed all this rap shit through skating, even though Tyler knew Earl could rap too.

In that 'Early Days' video they did, when they're talking to the camera on the couch, Earl's talking about their musical influences as if they grew up together and shit. Must be pretty tight knit friends

They're not actually brothers, but hey, when you get extremely close emotionally with a person, you can consider them family. I think they're relationship as best friends is awesome. I would definitely say Earl and Tyler are the closest in the group. Their so close Tyler said when he won the award for Best New Artist he says " This is for my little brother Earl, he's not here right now."

That kinda says a lot.
